ARGONAUT aims at developing an AI-driven, user-friendly tool that assesses the environmental impacts of bio-based products, compares alternative value chain scenarios and assists in identifying more sustainable pathways, while also featuring blockchain-enabled Digital Passports for the transparent certification and reporting of the environmental performance of such bio-products. By integrating cutting-edge AI and blockchain technologies with a robust environmental impact analysis framework based on Life Cycle Assessment methodology, ARGONAUT aims to close knowledge gaps and make sustainability more accessible, secure, and actionable for the wider bio-based production community.
