With over 20 years of experience in business development and sustainability, Sorina brings deep expertise in leveraging innovation and emerging technologies to address global challenges.
As Co-founder and CEO @ Recycllux, she is committed to eradicating marine plastic pollution and preserving marine ecosystems through technology and community-driven solutions. In 2025, she was selected for Cohort 8 of the EIC Women Leadership Programme and was recognized among the 10 Female Ocean Champions at the WIN-BIG Sea Basin Event in Rome (March).
She previously served as Co-founder and Chief Business Development Officer at ChemChain SARL, a blockchain-based chemical traceability startup acquired by 3E in 2023, and held senior business development roles at IBM, Oracle, and Indra.
Since 2014, Sorina has been an external expert for the European Commission with over 50 assignments and has served as an Innovation Management Expert for the EIT since 2018. Her expertise spans circular economy, cleantech, industrial symbiosis, AI-driven sustainability, and raw materials innovation.
