Dr. Marijana MioniΔ Ebersold is an accomplished innovation strategist, leader and senior advisor with over 15 years of experience advancing sustainable product development, R&D portfolio management and technology-driven business growth in complex industrial ecosystems.
Besides being independent consultant providing strategic counsel on sustainable industrial processes, innovation, business growth, product and product portfolio development, she currently serves as an expert in EU renewable energy innovation initiatives and as an Advisory Board Member in the Horizon Europe SYMBA project.
Her role in SYMBA reflects her ongoing commitment to integrating sustainability into innovation ecosystems aiming for resilient, zero-waste value chains, to enabling the green transition and shaping sustainable, resilient industrial ecosystems.
Earlier in her career, Dr. MioniΔ Ebersold held numerous roles in leading, advancing and shaping innovation in the manufacturing industry at OC Oerlikon, in the healthcare sector at Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) and in advanced materials R&D at EPFL.
Her work has consistently bridged the gap between cutting-edge science and industry impact, including securing multiple million in public research funding, delivering breakthrough technologies, and advising on innovation and IP strategy.
Skilled at fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration and with experience in both industry and academia, Dr. MioniΔ Ebersold is recognized for her capability to bridge science and strategy to deliver impactful, circular solutions for future-ready industries.
Besides bridging innovation, science, strategy, and sustainability to drive industrial transformation, she has been known for her ability to translate complex technologies into scalable industrial solutions.
She holds a MSc in Environmental Protection, a PhD in Experimental Solid State Physics (EPFL), postdoc in Material Science (EPFL), certifications in ESG (IMD), social media strategy (AWAI), board readiness, and C-level programs (EWOB), and currently participate in Women Leadership Program at HSG Executive School.
She is also passionate about supporting women in their career aspirations, and thus active in numerous organizations, especially in European Women on Boards (EWOB).
