P2Green Final Conference

The P2Green Final Event, entitled “Advancing Circular Sanitation from Demonstration to Market Uptake,” will take place on 7 October 2026 at the BIP Meeting Centre in Brussels, Belgium. It will bring together policymakers, researchers, water sector operators, agri-food industry representatives and other key stakeholders to explore how circular sanitation solutions can be deployed more widely across Europe.

The conference will present the main achievements of the four-year P2GreeN project, including practical applications of nutrient recovery systems and urine-derived fertilisers. Discussions will examine their potential contribution to more sustainable and circular fertiliser production.

The programme will include expert panels on pilot technologies, legislative and governance challenges, market uptake opportunities, and the project’s key findings and recommendations. Networking sessions will also support knowledge exchange and the development of future collaborations.

Representatives from ICLEI Europe will attend the final conference of the Horizon Europe P2GreeN project on behalf of SYMBA. ICLEI’s participation will provide an opportunity to represent SYMBA, share its perspective and connect with European stakeholders working to advance circular and resource-efficient solutions.
