Industrial Symbiosis Day Valencia
Join Industrial Symbiosis Day Valencia and discover how collaboration between companies can turn the challenges of the PPWR into new opportunities for business and circularity.
The introduction of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) is bringing new challenges β but also new opportunities β for the plastics and packaging industry.
Requirements around circularity, recyclability, recycled content and waste reduction are making collaboration across the value chain increasingly important. In this context, industrial symbiosis offers a powerful way to identify new uses for resources, create synergies between organisations and build more circular value chains.
As part of Industrial Symbiosis Day Valencia, promoted by the SYMBA project, AIMPLAS is organising this event to bring together companies, public authorities, waste managers, research and technology organisations, and other stakeholders from across the industrial ecosystem.
The aim is simple: to explore how collaboration can help turn waste and by-products into valuable resources.
Through expert presentations, shared experiences and networking opportunities, participants will discover initiatives focused on resource recovery, the use of secondary raw materials and the development of new business opportunities linked to the circular economy and compliance with emerging regulatory requirements.
The event will place particular emphasis on the plastics and packaging sector, exploring how industrial symbiosis can help businesses move towards more efficient, sustainable and competitive models.
