SYMBA was represented at Circular Textile Days 2026, held in Tilburg, the Netherlands, on 30 September and 1 October 2026, by Ine De Vilder from project partner CENTEXBEL.
Circular Textile Days is a European event dedicated to the transition towards a more circular and sustainable textile industry, bringing together companies, technology providers, recyclers, research organisations, policymakers and other actors from across the textile value chain.
The participation of CENTEXBEL was particularly relevant for SYMBA, as the textile sector is one of the industrial sectors addressed by the project. Within the SYMBA consortium, CENTEXBEL contributes its specific expertise and network in the textile industry, supporting the projectβs ambition to demonstrate how industrial symbiosis can help transform traditional linear value chains into more circular and resource-efficient systems.
Representing SYMBA, Ine De Vilder contributed to strengthening the projectβs visibility within the European textile community and to connecting its industrial symbiosis approach with stakeholders working on circular textile value chains.
Events such as this provide an important opportunity to raise awareness of the SYMBA approach among relevant industrial stakeholders, exchange knowledge on circular solutions and identify potential connections between companies, material flows and value chains.
CENTEXBELβs participation therefore contributed to strengthening dialogue with potential users and stakeholders who can support the wider uptake and replication of industrial symbiosis approaches in the textile sector.
