Collaboration is a core principle underpinning the transition towards more sustainable and resilient systems.
In this context, SYMBA is pleased to announce a new synergy with the FoodCoP project, based on a shared commitment to fostering cooperation and enabling circular, resource-efficient solutions.
SYMBA and FoodCoP are complementary initiatives, both working to build collaborative ecosystems that support sustainable innovation. While SYMBA promotes Industrial Symbiosis as a mechanism to optimise resource use and enhance cross-sector connections, FoodCoP focuses on transforming food systems through circular bioeconomy principles and stakeholder engagement.
This collaboration creates clear added value, particularly in the agri-food sector, where the integration of Industrial Symbiosis approaches can further strengthen resource efficiency and unlock new opportunities for sustainable growth. By connecting stakeholders across value chains and encouraging knowledge exchange, both projects contribute to scaling up impactful solutions at European level.
Through this synergy, SYMBA and FoodCoP aim to reinforce their respective activities and maximise their contribution to a more circular, innovative, and sustainable future.
