The SYMBA project has officially launched a new survey aimed at industry representatives and companies operating in key sectors, including agrifood, plastics and packaging, textiles, waste valorisation, and wastewater valorisation.
This short survey is designed to gather valuable insights to support the development of industrial symbiosis and circular value chains, with a particular focus on identifying new collaboration and business opportunities across sectors.
Through this initiative, SYMBA aims to better understand:
- Companiesβ needs and priorities related to industrial symbiosis
- Barriers and challenges hindering the adoption of IS solutions
- The level of interest in cross-sector collaboration
- Companiesβ roles within existing value chains
The collected information will contribute to mapping resource flows, collaboration potential, and circular opportunities among industries. These insights will help the project identify innovative business models, strengthen partnerships, and support the transition towards more sustainable and resource-efficient industrial ecosystems.
Participation in the survey is open to companies across the targeted sectors, and all responses will be treated with full confidentiality. The results will support SYMBAβs ongoing work in fostering industrial symbiosis and circular economy solutions at cross-sectoral level.
Industry representatives are encouraged to contribute their perspectives and help shape future opportunities for collaboration and circular value chains.
