On 6 November 2025, SYMBA was presented during an online meeting of the H4C RCAP Working Group, a collaborative platform facilitated by ACR+ (Association of Cities and Regions for Sustainable Resource Management).

ACR+ is an international network of cities and regions committed to promoting sustainable resource management and accelerating the transition towards a circular economy, both at territorial level and beyond. The H4C RCAP Working Group brings together cities and organizations interested in working on industrial symbiosis, including stakeholders with little or no prior experience in the field. The group meets regularly through online sessions to exchange knowledge, experiences, and good practices.

During the meeting, ICLEI presented the policy analysis carried out within the SYMBA project, collecting valuable feedback from participants to support the upcoming development of policy recommendations. This exchange contributed to strengthening the relevance and applicability of SYMBA’s policy work across different territorial contexts.

In addition, Climate KIC introduced the New European Bauhaus (NEB) as a potential overarching approach for industrial symbiosis projects, highlighting its value in integrating sustainability, inclusiveness, and aesthetics into systemic industrial transitions.
