The 12th edition of the Coating & Laminating Conference was held on 21-22 October 2025 at the Centexbel headquarters in Ghent, Belgium. From this year, Centexbel has taken over the organisation of the conference in close collaboration with the previous organisers, Prof. Dr. Em. Marc Van Parijs and Karina Wageneire. The conference focused on the latest advancements and future directions in coating, laminating, and textile chemistry, addressing the growing demand for smarter, more sustainable, and adaptable solutions. Participants explored emerging technologies, innovative production processes, and novel materials shaping the next generation of the industry.
As part of the event, the SYMBA was showcased through a flyer at the conference booth, highlighting its innovative approach to industrial symbiosis and circular economy practices in the coating and laminating sector. The project was represented by Ine De Vilder, who shared information about SYMBAβs objectives and ongoing activities with attendees.
