On 10 June 2025, the SYMBA project participated in the webinar βContributing to the Circular Economy by Clean, Competitive & Industrial-Scalable Solutions Coming from EU-Funded Projectsβ, co-organised by the EU-funded initiatives LIFE POLITEX and LIFE ANHIDRA.
The webinar brought together European projects dedicated to advancing the circular economy through innovative and scalable technologies. The technical framework of the webinar focused on solutions related to closed-loop systems, advanced technologies for water recirculation and resource extraction from wastewater, mechanical and chemical recycling of textiles and polymers, as well as the valorization of waste and waste streams (including liquid fractions) for reuse or energy production, such as biogas.

SYMBA was featured in Session 2: Industrial-Urban Symbiosis, where Marco de la Feld from ENCO Srl delivered a presentation showcasing SYMBAβs approach to strengthening synergies between industrial and urban systems through circular strategies.
