The SYMBA project continues to gain momentum, making its way into mainstream media. As part of our strategic outreach efforts, we have launched a Mainstream Media Campaign targeting television, radio, and the written press, aiming to bring industrial symbiosis into the public conversation.
On Monday 31st of March, thanks to the network of our Italian partner ENCO, the project was featured in Corriere del Mezzogiorno – Economy, a widely recognized newspaper. This coverage marks an important step in raising awareness about the potential of industrial symbiosis to transform waste into value and foster a more circular economy.
Bringing such a complex and technical topic to mainstream media is not a small thing. SYMBA consortium is working aiming at creating a new and innovative method of Industrial Symbiosis to be replicated in the European Union countries to reduce the environmental impact on soil, water and air quality. It foresees significant economic, environmental and social benefits by creating a more resilient and sustainable supply chain, while fostering collaborative regional ecosystems.
This recognition on newspapers is a testament to the collective effort of the SYMBA consortium in bridging the gap between industry, policymakers, and the general public. As the project progresses, we remain committed to furthering this dialogue and ensuring that industrial symbiosis becomes a widely embraced practice.
