We are pleased to share that Tanja Meyer from Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant took the stage at the SYMBIO project workshop, where she presented the innovative SYMBA approach. Her presentation demonstrated how industrial symbiosis can play a pivotal role in accelerating the transition toward a more sustainable European bioeconomy.

The workshop held on 20 February brought together regional experts, project partners, and key stakeholders to discuss how bio-based innovations and policies are shaping the future of the sector. Through in-depth discussions on regional bioeconomy landscapes, cutting-edge technologies, and real-world data, the event emphasized the need to integrate social value into bioeconomy business models to drive both sustainability and innovation.

The SYMBA project is dedicated to creating synergies, transforming waste into resources, and fostering collaboration across industries, ultimately contributing to a circular economy.
