The SYMBA project proudly participated in the 4th International Conference on “Circular Economy for Textiles & Plastics”, organized by Centexbel, VKC and Fedustria in Ostend, Belgium. This prestigious event, held annually, serves as a hub for innovation and collaboration in the realm of circular economy and sustainability.

This year’s conference was held on 19 and 20 November and brought together a diverse lineup of 26 expert speakers and nine scientific poster presenters representing Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Spain, Finland, France, Italy, the Netherlands, and the United States. Topics such as digital product passports and extended producer responsibility were at the forefront, promising forward-thinking discussions and impactful solutions for the future of sustainability.

As part of the event, SYMBA’s contributions were highlighted through a poster presentation titled “Assisting the Creation of Regional Zero-Waste Value Chains”.
